CHECK is a selective pre-emergence herbicide containing Pretilachlor 50% EC for effective weed management in transplanted rice. It controls major grassy weeds, sedges, and selected broadleaf weeds during the early crop growth stage, ensuring long-lasting weed control, healthy crop establishment, and improved yield potential.

Mode of Action

• CHECK inhibits Very Long Chain Fatty Acid (VLCFA) synthesis in germinating weed seedlings.

• It interferes with cell division and growth of susceptible weeds.

• The herbicide is absorbed through shoots and roots of emerging weeds.

• After absorption, it translocates into vegetative tissues and suppresses weed establishment before emergence.

Time of Application

Method of Application

3. Use knapsack sprayer, foot sprayer, or power sprayer.
